The National Center for Medical Readiness (NCMR), a research and testing asset of Wright State Research Institute (WSRI), has partnered with the Air Force SBIR/STTR Program Office. NCMR possesses the critical infrastructure required for success, as well as experience to understand how best to leverage capabilities that enhance the small business technology development process.
NCMR staff provides a vast array of domain expertise, to include:
NCMR staff provides technical expertise:
NCMR is home to a 53-acre operational range called Calamityville. This simulation playground provides interesting environments needed to conduct high-fidelity immersion for both the scientist and their technologies. A retired cement manufacturing plant, Calamityville, is a light-industrial complex with legacy structures and plenty of opportunity for operational scenarios for training and testing.
In order to facilitate Tech Warrior Enterprise events, NCMR and the Air Force has instantiated a robust and flexible network infrastructure, a 10-camera network, and a 4TB high-resolution network video recorder capability.
The facility has a wide array of scenario zones that support various training & testing vignettes:
NCMR’s proximity to WPAFB and interstate highways makes it easily accessible and ready for your use.
